You know what I think would be neat? For those of us who'd like to buy products made in the US, or even made locally, I think it would be neat if Amazon had a search option that would limit results to a country or a region of the world.

I've always hated setting the time on clock radios. There are some that will only let you set time ahead, so you have to go through 24 hours to subtract a few minutes. There are others that let you back up one second at a time. Then the one I have has 4 buttons for changing the time, and it has a date on it for some reason -- way too many buttons, way too complicated.
What about a clock radio, with a touchscreen displaying an analog clock, where you set the time by moving the hands with your finger. To set the alarm, you just press a button (on screen or an actual button) and set the time (the "alarm set" mode would have a timeout, and would return to the regular clock display). My current clock radio has a Indiglo backlight -- that's probably the one feature I like about it, and would carry over. My car stereo has something like 65535 background colors available -- that might be preferable as well, if it can be set up easily.
This might make the clock too complicated, but if you did add a calendar to it, you should be able to select what days of the week the alarm should go off. It'd be a simple 7 day calendar floating above the clock while in "alarm set" mode.
Ideally, the tuning would be digital as well.
Everything would be "one touch".
I could draw up the interface, I think, although it would look like a MS paint deal.
It'd probably be too expensive to be much more than a artsy demonstration model, unfortunately.
