I don't buy much into the bad boy/nice guy thing. Most people just aren't that strongly one or the other.
But more on topic, I think a lot of people assume the 'nice guy' is going ot be boring, or just the safe choice. Some people just aren't in to that.
I've met a lot of 'nice guys' who just weren't honest enough with their opinions, feelings, etc. to feel even remotely genuine.

in my experiences nice guys arent really nice they are just fakes that hope some girl will fall for it or they feel like since they are nice they deserve the girl but its not up to them if they "get" the girl its up to the girl and girls can feel the subtle pressure of the nice guys needs and wants and its not so nice
