I have watched the John Adams series on HBO, and I have loved every minute of it. It reminds us of the price that our forefathers paid to revolt against the most powerful nation at the time, to win our freedom, and to preserve it for you and I. I am glad that David McCullough is getting some recognition for his work as a writer. I love his books, especially one on Harry Truman. I have in my collection of books and still love reading it, even today. If you have not watched the series, then I would strongly recommend that you do so. While it is history and about the past, the past is never dead and buried (Kudos to who can identify who I am badly paraphrasing).

A friend of mine just passed the bar a few months back and has been having a terrible time - can't find a job anywhere. I thought of you and wanted to check if by chance there might be an opening you knew of where I could point her in the right direction.

I need to check the book out. I've been reading more non-fiction lately (I just finished Augustus: Rome's First Emperor by Anthony Everitt).
