Currently, I'm:
A. Eating a delicious turkey/pepper jack/cheddar cheese sammich on eight grain bread topped with caesar ranch mayonnaise and drinking a tall, cold glass of Arizona Green Tea with honey.
B. Waiting for Kill Reality to come on at 9 pm. Call me a dork, but I'm addicted to that show.
C. Trying not to think about the rain, flooding, and winds headed our way from that bitch Katrina.
D. Celebrating, because even though I'm dreading the storm, Katrina has managed to already cancel my first day of school.
E. Hoping that ALL my SG peeps down south of here are staying dry and SAFE. The news has been showing all kinds of devastation that makes me sad and worried.
Today, I did the following:
A. Picked up our puppy Gus, and settled him into his temporary home at my parents house. He refuses to get in the dog house, but I bet he will be thankful we got it for him in a few hours. He looks pretty skinny now...Animal Control didn't care for him well at all, so I won't be posting any pics until we get him all fattened up and clean and at our house.
B. Rearranged our entire closet and laundry room. I know, I've only been here a month, what could I possibly need to rearrange? Well, JP and I have been planning to go on this health kick, so we've been refusing to get rid of our jeans that won't fit (and buying new ones as we outgrow the old) so our closet shelf was looking a little awry. I had some storage bins that needed to be put in the laundry room, so I moved them- which caused the entire rearragement of the laundry room.
I find it almost ironic that:
A. A friend of mine who chastised me the most during my "promiscuous" stage has recently gone through her own AND neglected to take the birth control or use the condoms, resulting in an unexpected pregnancy. I'd think it completely ironic and be totally cold-hearted about it except she is my friend, and I feel bad for her.
B. Not to make light of the recent destruction from Katrina, but...JP has a particularly evil, destructive, bitch of an ex-girlfriend who caused nothing but trouble and left a bunch of damage in her wake- and her name is none other than Katrina.
I've found that:
A. Since I've calmed down the drama in my life, my journal entries are quite mundane and boring. I'm amazed I still get any comments at all.
B. I think I may, at times, be almost TOO innocent for this site.
Love and hugs, kiddies. Stay dry, be careful, and don't do drugs. Or something. Whatever.

Your friend sounds crazy, this isn't the age of Aquarius.
*BIG sigh of relief*
I'm glad. I hate sleeping alone... even with all the awesome friends I have, Iit would've been hard. The longest he's been gone up to now is a month, and that was bad enough... I knew what I was getting into when we started dating two years ago, but still, I'd still to avoid it when we can.
Hey, do you like Cold? Their new CD kicks ass We went and bought it last night, and I loooove it.
How's Gus adjusting?
See you later hon
