I just got done watching My Super Sweet 16 on MTV. What a horrible show- a bunch of rich, spoiled brats bitching about what did or didn't go right in their hundred thousand dollar sweet 16 parties. I think that even if my parents would have had enough money to throw me some sort of huge bash for my birthday...I wouldn't have behaved like that.
My parents don't have a lot of money, and they never have, but they've always gone way out of their way (and way into debt) to provide me with the things that I have...and I'm incredibly, INCREDIBLY grateful for it.
That's why that show, full of ungrateful little bitches, really got to me. I'd never seen it before, and I am really kind of glad.

In other news, the puppy comes home on next Monday. We hae to take Alley to get fixed and we're going to give her a few days to recouperate before being attacked by a big energetic puppy.
He's going to spend a luxurious week in my parent's care.
We were going to try to find him another home, but we decided we'd be far too attached after caring for him for a week to give him away. Unless it's to a VERY close friend, because then we'd be able to see him all the time.

I got school figured out. I'm taking only 2 classes this semester, and working my ass of to save up money enough to go next semester (and possibly one more). If I take 18 hours next semester I still may be able to eek out a graduation. I hope. Anyone know of a very generous rich person that would love to pay a hard pressed, intelligent student's last two semesters of school? If so, send them my way!

Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning.
JP's sister is coming over tomorrow, and I want to make the house look exceptional.
We're also going to go to his parent's house tomorrow night. His dad just got home from Bulgaria and brought us some goodies. (I hope some Bulgarian wine...it's really delicious!)

I shaved down the friend's list. If you're still here, I
you. You actually respond to my entries and talk to me. If you stumble upon this and realize you've been cut...talk to me and actually BE a friend. Then you'll get added back.
Love you guys!

Yay, you're keeping the puppy!!! I'm happy for you. After Dax died, it's nice that you'll have Gus to keep Alley company. I'm sure she'll be thrilled to have a little brother
Bulgarian Wine, huh? Never had it. Red or white? What's it like? It's good you get along with JP's family, that's sooo nice. My best friend (who's name is Amy, ironically) is married, and her inlaws hate her... it's rough to love someone and not get along with their family. So, it's a good thing you don't have that problem. Makes things so much nicer... and besides, it's always nice to have more cool people to hang out with
Hey, I'm still on your list
Congrats on the puppy!
Are you going to work while you're taking 18 credits? Because that sounds like a recipe for disaster.
