So, we got two of the coolest wedding gifts ever, and I'm so enamored over these gifts that I need to talk about them.
We were lucky to receive a Roomba AND a Scooba! Have you guys seen these things??? They're little robots that vaccuum (Roomba) and mop (Scooba) for you, so you don't have to. You basically just sit them down and turn them on and go. They have sensors in them that detect extra dirt, walls, obstacles, etc. They also remember formats of rooms so you get the optimum clean. It takes about 45 minutes per room, which I thought was excessive at first...then I remembered that I'M not spending MY 45 minutes in there, so what does it matter? Anyway, my carpets are getting vaccuumed everyday now, and my floors are getting washed twice a week--- which is awesome because I have 3 dogs that do nothing but shed and get mud everywhere. My carpet and floors have seriously never looked better, just because they're getting cleaned everyday. I can find 20 seconds to sit the things on the floors and turn them on everyday whereas I can't find 30 minutes everyday to mop and a few hours to vaccuum the whole house. We also got a Spot Bot Pet-- which is a spot remover thing specially made for pet stains. So our carpets look brand new. We love these new robot things so much we named them. We have Steve the Roomba, Lola the Scooba, and Jebediah the Spot Bot.
In other news, I'm still jobless, and it's starting to get miserable. It's not for lack of trying to get a job...I'm too qualified for half of the ones I apply for and underqualified for the other half. I can't find anything in the middle. I have a friend that is trying to get me hired as a claims processor at Allstate Insurance. I faxed them my resume and her boss is chomping at the bit to hire me, but the hiring process requires an over the phone interview by their corporate office and it hasn't happened yet. What does that mean for me? Well, they usually call between 4 and 8 at night during the week so I haven't been out of my house in the evening for the last 4 days. Hopefully the call will come Monday and I'll get hired soon. Cross your fingers and think good thoughts for me, ok?

Don't get discouraged about not finding a job yet. When I first moved here with my boyfriend, it took almost a year to finally get in somewhere, but now I've been there ever since. Be patient, someone soon will see all the great qualities and consider themselves lucky when they hire you
How's married life treating you?
