my trip to ny. by daniel silverman.
i went to my grandpa gus and grandma flo's house. they were incredibly nice. nicer than they'd ever been. usually their shitfucks. they decided to rag on my cousin carrie instead of me. calling her "chubby". but she gave them an ear full.
i applied for a job at technicolor. whether or not i'll get it i'm not sure. but i'd really really really like to work there. they have some beAUTiful toys.
I saw some incredible art in Chelsea. This painting was by someone whose first name is Kelly and I can't remember her 2nd name. I think the show was at CRG Gallery. She has an elephant obsession which becomes apparent after you see her other paintings.
The picture of me is in our hotel room at the Bellclair on 77th and Broadway in the Upper West Side. It was nice. Radiators were hot. But the deal was good. $500ish for 2 nights for 5 people. Not too shabby for the city.
And a cheesy but well composed picture of the city as taken from some famous lookout established by someone whose name I think was Dr. Daniel Drake in Central Park.
I'm ready to move. Fuck Richmond. My goddamn roomates hate me for not wanting to let a friend move in our closet. Now I don't feel like I live in my own goddamn house and I'm thinking about moving into a much smaller place if I can't move up to NYC. Funny how people are. One day they think you're the fucking greatest. Than you're an asshole because you don't see it their way. Fucking girls.
