Perhaps the SG culture is finally beginning to seep into my psyche... no... must... resist......

I'd like to say that little endian machines officially suck. When I do arithmetic, I like my bytes to line up in an order that I can look at in the debugger and figure out the alignment in my head instantly so I don't go insane swapping around all the bytes on paper or in my messy brain. Oh yeah, it's not fun if you're...

You know... co-ops are GOOD people. Be friends with them - they're often nice and give you rides to important concerts of the summer when UTPers won't do it. Mike K. is one truly awesome guy (he'll never read this ever, oh well).

So yeah, Motorhead played first, and they played some stuff off of Ace of Spades from what I remember - 45 minute...

Iron Maiden, Dio, Motorhead... wish I had asked some other people if they want to go beforehand so I CAN FUCKING GO. Columbia's like only 10 miles from here and no fucking car means no fucking show since public transportation here is the worst in the state. I'll send an e-mail out tomorrow to see if anyone's willing to go last-minute. Then again, I doubt...

Went to Live on Penn yesterday in DC to check out Violent Femmes, and coincidentally met up with some buddies. Looked like it was going to rain pretty hard, and everyone not from Seattle ( smile ) got nervous and we decided to head over to Cosi's in DuPont Circle for some good ol' coffee. Got a lot of career and academic advice (as well as...

So yeah, I'm in good ol'' Maryland once again. Time for a grand ol' time at work. I dunno if I'll ever want to come home with all the neat gadgets. Too bad I don't see any cool shows coming around the Baltimore / D.C. area. American Folklife Festival is one thing... but I think Seattle's was sufficient for me. If only Silk Road Festival...

I like the fact that nobody seems to reply in the content of the respective journal entry. Sure, my journal entries aren't exactly Top 10 best-sellers, but I thought journals were supposed to be like little discussion-starters. But hey it's all just my interpretation.

I'd like to point out a truly awesome site my friend made:

Real Ultimate Pirates

If that's not funny, the links at the bottom of the page will probably fill in the hole. (I still think the Electrical Engineers: Real Ultimate Power is the best of those, and the bum one gets minus points for making fun of computer engineers).

Ugh... tomorrow's my birthday and I have a wonderful, happy CSE 321 final that I'm not quite ready to take. Next week, I'll have my ass handed to me by OS and networking finals. At least I'll have some fun tomorrow in celebrating the end of my teen years and moving onto the 20s with my brothers and sisters in CSE. Not old enough to...

I just realized something dumb about the SG profiles. If you put your birthdate down, can't anyone else figure out your sign really, really easily from that? If anyone gives a damn about astrology, wouldn't they be able to turn birthdates into signs already? Wow, gee, my astrological sign is /gasp Gemini. Big-fucking-hairy-deal.

So who made up these profile items anyways? I'd think up some...

ps the thing that really pisses me off about these profiles is there's a space for favourite movies, space for favourite music, but no favourite video games...
