Went to Live on Penn yesterday in DC to check out Violent Femmes, and coincidentally met up with some buddies. Looked like it was going to rain pretty hard, and everyone not from Seattle ( 
) got nervous and we decided to head over to Cosi's in DuPont Circle for some good ol' coffee. Got a lot of career and academic advice (as well as advice on how to hook up with electrical engineering chicks, haha), so I think my day was better spent than if I had stayed to get soaked and watch Violent Femmes.
I'm still looking around for a Disgorge show in this shit-can...
