Party saturday!
The True Few Motorcycle Club will be hosting the Texas FallOut this coming Saturday (the 12th) at the J. Lorraine Ghost Town, just east of Manor, TX. The ghost town is approximately 15 minutes east of Austin, and must be seen to be believed. The party starts at 2pm saturday. There will be music (live music by Swampsauce), horse shoe contest, bike games (BARREL RACING!), Biker movies on the ghost town's outdoor movie screen (showing will be American Biker, The Wild One, and a special late-night biker movie hand picked by yours truly ), kegs, food (an amazing venison chili amongst other stuff)... Admission at the gate is $10.
Directions!
Take exit ..238B off IH-35 in Austin and go East on Hwy 290E 12.3 miles, through Manor, to Old Kimbro Road across from the Tee Time Golf Range, and take a right. Go 1.1 miles, bear left and you'll see the J. Lorraine Ghost Town around the curve. 14219 Littig Road, Manor TX 78653.
Now here's the real reason we're putting this on...
The Foundation
The JW Rock Foundation was founded in 2004 after the death of J.W. Rock, beloved brother and friend to all in the Texas Motorcycle Community. Each Christmas Austin motorcyclists and friends come together and raise funds to insure that some needy families in our community are being cared for and whose children will have a joyous and merry holiday. Last year the JWRock Foundation adopted over 25 Austin families and provided them with toys, treats, and gift cards to HEB and Wal Mart.
This foundation has no employees, only volunteers. My brothers and myself and MANY others put COUNTLESS hours every year into putting on events and raising money to help kids & families out in the Austin area. This year is going to be especially tough. So please try to make this. It would mean a LOT to me.
