slightly drunk, & online again. but its time for some shennanegins. i think i spell that word different every time. after some finangling i managed to avoid a disasterous situation from my history & ended up downtown. i was drinking a beer with fiend as he worked the door at a club. he had to go take care of some things when he decided to have me cover him & watch the door. the first patrons arrived (mind you this was about 1 am, after said bar had had a fashion show). as i'm reaching for the girls ID i look over and see that she's with one of my best fiends of all time. now i didn't know he was coming into town, but then again before 7 pm neither did he. we suprise each other like that. i looked over & said 'i'm sorry sir, you're too drunk to let in.' i then sat back & watched the confusion on his face while he realised not only what had been said but who had said it. mind you he had been unexpectedly partying at a out of town show all night. needless to say we had a good time & good late night migas. kinda cheesy entry i know, but he is sleeping on my couch with my dog. the same couch that i used to have when we were roommates about 7 years ago. yep. oh & on the other couch is his ride. a girl i met about 4 years ago on an evening of alot of tequila and much more absinthe. beautiful soul gave me & another old fiend a ride back to our houses that were 45 miles away. granted, we never left the city, just the burroughs.
