Okay, so for this weeks Suicide Girls @bloghomework us girls and members were asked to talk about our best worst Valentines Day and I couldn’t help be super mortified and excited to share mine with you guys!

February 2010:

Just as I was I was coming up on my second Valentine’s Day alone, I decided that this year would be different. No girls’ movie night, because all my girlfriends were dating, no self pity eating an entire tray of poutine, I was going to find a date. Fast forward to me beginning internet dating. I tried plenty of fish and within 12 hours I had an email from a guy who seemed to be quite promising. He was tall, his profile made him sound smart, handsome, and claimed to be pursuing a career as a teacher. It sounded great, so we messaged back and forth for a few days and then finally exchanged numbers and started texting. We set up our first date for Valentine’s Day. Cliché sure but maybe this guy was going to be my Mr. Right! I was so excited that I spent hours pondering over what to wear and how to hell I was going to get the perfect winged eyeliner pointe. Finally, the time came to meet him at the pub. Seeing no sign of him in the crowded lounge, I stood in my corner and waited. I noticed a weird looking guy staring at me and before I knew it he was next to me. He asked if I knew the time and then he asked me if I was there to meet him. Too bad I had posted accurate pictures, because he certainly had not. The guy who stood next to me was about 3 years and sixty pounds different than the pictures that he had posted. I was pretty freaked out. Then I accidentally caught a glimpse at what he was wearing. Now, call me a snob, but this dude had ZERO class. He decided to pair black tear aways (that were about three inches too short) with green socks and tattered Dr Martens. To top it all off, he added what was probably his dressiest shirt: a orange, fuzzy sweater that had a pumpkin on it. Needless to say, there was no second date, and I don’t think I’ve ever dated anyone from the internet since..

Hahahaha, oh thank you. That story made my night. Smart of you to stay away from online dating after that!

That sounds like a scene from punked, see you always gotta ask for a verification photo haha, I'm sure dating has been better for you since?
