Well well its easter holidays and ive got one week before i have to go back to uni.
its really weird cos after that we only have 2 weeks to get all our final major project work dont then we have to put everything up in a exhibition and then uni is over.
its all gone so fast.
i need to start looking for somewhere to live for next year. ive kinda found somewhere near uni which is like a 10 second walk from weatherspoons, 20 second walk from the town center with all the shops and stuff, 3 min walk from uni and the train station so its perfect.
living in epsom is gonna be boring but maybe at least ill get work done and hopefully not go to the pub too much.
i went to the Gilbert and George exhibtion at the tate on monday.
it was really really good. id not seen any of their stuff yet so it was a new experience.
this is my fave piece in the whole exhibition:
i like the fact that they feature in nearly all of their art peices which not many artists do, i guess it kinda makes it more personal. All of their peices were about life and different things to do with it which was quite interesting,
also they way they use bold colour in black and white images is random but works really well.
i didnt do much last week apart from uni work and i stayed at my bettys house.
we're planning on going to amsterdam for a weekend in june just to get fucked for a few days then come home.
were also planning on going to fabric on friday. fabric is good. you know that man who did that flat beat song for that flat eric thing, hes playing and some dj's called scratch perverts which ive heard are good and kinda do remixes of well known songs.
that should be fun
Also i really wanna go to the 02 wireless festival on sat cos daft punk, digitalism and css and lcd soundsystem are playing. i really must see daft punk! it seems like they never play over here.
went to the sg bowling meet yesterday. that was cool even though i missed out on the bowling cos i was working
speaking of working......we had an easter party at work which i kinda organised. it was cool. we had to dress up like smart bunnys if that makes any sense. people wouldnt stop taking photos of us and stuff in the shop no matter how many times we told them you cant take photos. arghh. i found a lot of men would randomly take sneaky photos of us and wouldnt go away
lots of photos were taken so ill probably post them and im sure it will be on our shops my space.
