Why I do it:
Days like today are the reason! People think I'm fucking crazy. I had a choice. I can be wet on rainy days or I can be sad and jealous on days like this. I decided that (a) it is sunny more often than it is rainy, and (b) it is more miserable to be sad and jealous that it is to be wet.
I ride my motorcycle every day that I have to go somewhere, rain, shine, etc. My truck has been signed over to my dad, and he paid me what it was worth (which I have used to take care of some debts I had either accumilated myself or bailed other people out of.) I no longer have a vehicle with an enclosed cabin.
Friday I woke up in ATL, yesterday I woke up in Tuscaloosa, this morning I woke up in Decatuer, and now I'm back in tuscaloosa. The things that I saw from the perch of my motorcycle simply cant be appreciated properly from the inside of a steel and glass cage.
Days like today make all the rainy days worth it. It would be nice if those who owe me money would pay up (allowing me to buy another truck) but for now, me and my motorcycle are happy enough.
