somethings arent as easy to come as go. it is not as easy to get back the ability to run five miles in 45 minutes as it is to lose that ability by not training. hurting a knee is easier than getting it healthy (Im not even sure how I hurt it in the first place) and a 36 inch waist is definately harder to get back when you are up to a 43.
my knee is maybe 80% (?) I need to not fuck it up worse. I also need to get at least 3:10 off my two mile run time in the next month. Ive gained 15 lbs overall in these several months of "taking it easy". My legs are smaller than they were when I was 40 lbs lighter. Its going to be a long december.
