Update from the road....
Holy hell. 40 hours of driving in 4 days = 2800 kms
Gotta say that the most beautiful sights I've seen all the way down were between Banff and Revelstoke, and Port Angeles and Olympia.
I s'pose there might have been more places, but driving after dark kinda exlcudes one from sight-seeing. Meh.
So I stayed with atrasties on Friday night, Weetzie on Saturday, hoteled it in Portland on Sunday, datsun's on Monday, and made it all the way to LA last night to crash with hotcurry.
Didn't get to do much where I've been so far cuz I've mostly been worried bout making good time. However, datsun made fantastic dinner Monday night and an equally delicious breakfast Tuesday morning, and the lay-over in Santa Cruz to hang out with Thistle was thoroughly enjoyable. Burnt chocolate milkshake = yum!
Umm...more to come before long...hope to be hitting the beaches this weekend in San Diego and be on the way to Vegas on Sunday and start to make the drive back on Tuesday morning.
