Tehehe...(semi-)impromptu road trips rock 
On a whim earlier last week, I made the decision that I was totally going to take a road trip to Calgary to visit some of the fantastic SG folk down there. After posting in the SG Canades West group about it, FreakPirate spoke up and said he wanted to come to. As a result, as of 1530 hours on Saturday afternoon we were on our way into the welcoming home of the lovely Lotus. Dinner was had with tygertyger and our hostess from Peter's Drive-In (best milkshakes ANYWHERE!), and a short nap before gearing up to go see s'more of the crew.
Broken city was occupied by us four, plus Atrasties (who joined us at Lotus's house), zenFish and rin. Live music was rather poor, but miraculous they began to sound better the more drunk they got
yeah, i know strange
once we wrapped that up, it was time to go home. after a few rounds of Super Mario Double Dash, we finally got some shut eye, only to be awoken scant few hours later by the wonderful smell of vegan blueberry pancakes *drool*.

a little more Double dash took place afterwards, and the FP and I were back on our way home...him back to his life of school, and me arriving back home, still not seeing the direct deposit that was s'posed ta be cleared over Friday night appear in my account.
I've got less two days to track down this money, otherwise I won't have a roof (rent), a car (insurance). oh yeah, and i'll starve too, cuz i have no food of my own in the pantry
maybe it'll be there this time i check my online banking....*crosses fingers*

I just live like 4 hours away from her now...makes it kind of hard to just hang out and get a bite to eat
