I don't have a whole lot to relate today -- though my life is interesting and ever changing of late.

So in the place of real blather, I'll post one of my favorite poems with my favorite line of all time.

Anybody who stops in should guess what my favorite line is.

E.E. Cummings
somewhere i have never travelled

somewhere i have never travelled, gladly beyond...

Id love to see those baby owls! Thats such a funny image, they must look so cute. All baby birds look so strange. I like the fact that chinese painted quails are feathered and can see as soon as they hatch! smile
noir:
It wasn't the hands thing that I liked, I was just commenting on it. My favorite part was what is in the parenthesis. The hands part just happened to be tacked on to it, so I included it as well. wink

Oh, and I noticed the 6 thing because I had a paper with some addresses and phone numbers printed out for an interview this morning. On my way there, I noticed that the address had spaces where some of the numbers should have been. So I went to call the guy, and there were spaces in his phone number. When I got home, I looked at the document in Word and saw that all the missing characters were sixes.

Well, there's one more success you can add to your record. smile

I got to check out a baby today, and you forget how small they are -- I think that's why they're cute.
noir:
Babies are just flailing balls of fat that ooze from every orifice.

I've been having fun looking at new art by Amanda Dunbar.

I know some of you are interested in art, as in you want to learn to be an artist, so here's one of the schools she attended, Pont Aven School of Contemporary Art.

I hope everyone is having a nice Sunday.

... and you as well!!! smile kiss

There wasn't much solid turdage there -- most was liquified in my carpet fibers. So I grabbed the only one that I could and didn't bother trying to dissect it so I could bring in just a small piece.

Since it's been a couple of days, and I'm not prepared to do much other than clean, I dynamited a two-year-old poem of mine out so that you may thrill and wonder at my literary turn of phrase confused whatever

Or not.

But, in my defense, I wrote it in about 5 minutes.

The blade in my chest turns
at the thought of you

My mind's eye...

Blow my journal out any time you want! confused

My calf muscles are all cramped up. Flexing my foot would require the calf muscle to lengthen. And it's just not going to do that right now.

That sounds like a fun wedding. I've never actually been to one as an adult.

The smell of grass clippings on a beautiful day...
That would be enough to clog my sinuses. How hot is it where you are?

Nothing wrong with the poem at all. It just reminded me of Jesus. And, according to the historically accurate portrayal of him in movies, Jesus was hot.
noir:
I'd say it was 85 and really humid. I'm kind of surprised we haven't had a thunderstorm yet.

Yuck. We don't get good thunderstorms here. They were beautiful in CO.

As far as sinuses -- it would take a real bollux system to beat mine. My record for one single sinus infection was 8 months. But fortunately, the problems appear to have gone away.

I have pretty bad problems with my sinuses too. But I also have chronic inner ear problems. 8 months is pretty extreme.

So are you bald yet? Wigs may sound cool, but aren't they expensive? blah. who cares.

No. I've been wanting to do it for years. I get closer and closer to actually doing it.

Last night I watched talk sex with sue and wondered if you get that down there. It's a show done by an old lady up in canada. Tell me if you get it.

I, personally, don't. But I don't have cable either.

well, enough crap.

I am busy being happy in my circumstances already in evidence.

I hope all of you are well.

Sadly, it's not like it is in the pic anymore, anyway. But thanks for...um...liking it!

Thank you so much.

I had a person who I thought was my friend make a false assumption -- which is no big deal.

The usual problem when dealing with assumptions is it's best not to have them, and just ask when you get the chance. Otherwise, you could end up acting on incorrect information, and looking foolish, at best.

You could hurt someone's feelings ... in the case...

Awww... I'm sorry! Cheer up babe!!! If not... I shall mock you some more! Muahahahah!

Yeah... people suck... especially friends. Just be happy you're not a girl. The politics of female friendship are usually more than I care to deal with. All most people know of me are their own assumptions. I look too different for anyone to really want to know me beyond hair and make-up. I am an image. Probably best that way.

I have a feeling I'm heading in the way of Van Gogh... except that I'm not a genius. I'm just a crazy mediocrity. I'll never cut off any body parts. Too vain. I can't even cut my hair, let alone an ear. Ill remain unglorified forever. Perhaps perhaps not. I could make it huge in my 30s. I am optimistic about my 30s. Optimism usually bites me in the ass, but not always. I remain safely pessimistic at all times just in case.

Sex doesn't really have a whole lot to do with intimacy in my experience,.
Maybe that's just me.

EDIT I misspelled Danica -- no wonder I couldn't find any pages on her. Plus I found her homepage.

Danica Patrick nearly won the damn race.

I can't believe it.

Ok, a guilty pleasure -- I am a bit of a race fan, of the old-time variety, meaning I don't get NASCAR.

I have been to the Indy 500, but not for a few years...

Many of the pictures I've tried are from my set, so you'll just have to wait to see them.

I don't like it because it doesn't look like me. The light falls weird on my eyebrows and I look much older than I actually am. And my hair is falling weird on my face.

Maybe you are a virus. Maybe the human race is the planet's cancer.

It's too late for me to make much sense. Too weird a day for me to care that I don't.

Good thoughts worked - things okay.
Thank you smile

I am currently listening to Quadrophenia by the Who -- the lesser-known of their rock operas.

It kicks so much ass, and I really had forgotten. I recommend it completely.

That reminds me -- everybody listens to music with the tracks all mixed up -- but once upon a time, albums were meant to tell a progressive story. This has more or less been lost...

It was really good fun, slightly terrifying but a good laugh, I have no idea what I looked like which worries me a littole, but it's over and done with and I had fun so it doesn't matter smile

I have to wait to get that song until my movies are done downloading, or else I'll get leech paused again. But it's on my list.
