I've been reading a lot lately, and Sophie suggested in her journal that people check out Pat Barker's Double Vision, which was really good.
I recently picked up an early effort by Barker, called the Man who wasn't There, which was okay, but still good, and just got in the mail one called The Ghost Road.
But I opened it to read, and I find it's book 3 of a trilogy ... bah!
Well, at least it's not snowing. I've been reading 13 days in June by Harrison Salisbury, about the Tiananmen masacre. So I'll just go back to that while I wait for book one.
I'm still pondering that really lucrative job offer. Barrel ass-loads of cash are tempting. But I have to consider that I like my current job.
