Have you ever been offered a job that pays a SHITLOAD of money, but you didn't really want it?
I'm in that kind of situation at the moment.
I suppose it's sort of a nice position to be in. But principle matters, and I'm not sure if mine match with the position being waived under my nose.
bleh.
Nothing like an inky update like that, huh?

They did actually have gunpowder then. The Eiffel Tower was going up. I forget what year that was built, but it was Victorian times. They had dynamite and guns and cannons. But... still the technology was a bit far-fetched. All the high voltage was a bit over-the-top. But then, it WAS sci-fi. What bothered me was that a woman of that era that was liberated enough to wear pants wouldn't wear a corset and heels. "I can't breathe or run, but I have free leg movement!" And the photos in the movie looked modern. They had the colour right, but the quality and setting were totally off. I can take the outlandish sci-fi stuff if they get the little details right, but they didn't try on any of it. But... most teenagers won't recognize that stuff. I would've, but I was a geek... still am. Like, The Time Machine. They got all the little stuff right, so the time machine concept was more believable. I detest bad movies. And a movie set in Victorian times has to be REALLY BAD before I will hate it.
