Sorry. I've not been home. I don't tend to look at the site on my friends computers...go figure. Anyway. Things seem to have been afoot...further investigation is required. If you know, send me a message or something.
In musical news, I saw Gillian Welch tonight. She was great. She always is. If you can go see her, do so. Her talent, and David Rawlings, is way beyond the "O Brother..." hype. What else...I didn't get to go to the ballet. I gave my ticket awayin the name of romance, er something. My ballet friend has a new friend who seems to be nice, so I stepped aside to allow the romance to brew. I guess I'll see if it was worth it or not: we have dinner plans tonight.
What's next? Well, Death Cab for Cutie with Mates of State. I have decided to miss Belle and Sebastian...ho-hum. Maybe I should start to descriptively review these shows and then convince a local paper to fund my live show habit...hmmmm.
And lastly: I am in a competition to completely school my roommate in who knows who. The judge of this contest is friendster, unfortunately. So, if you feel inclined, contact me and become my friendster. She always seems to keep ahead of me, but I figure that it's because I'm slack, as are my friends, and because I would rather spend time on SG, while she has hours to waste at work...anyway...should I be a pirate for Halloween?

There is a sort of melancholy even in the midst of that and that's what I really like. Like "take time" has all these people having fun and laughing with that "take...time..." mantra behind it and it just makes me think of making sure you really relish those moments of communion with each other bcse time passes so fast. Maybe I am weird. wait, I know I'm weird. But maybe my emotional states are off or something, but it almost makes me teary!!!
I talked to a friend of mine today and she is starting a performance group and wants me to be in it!!! YAY! I can't wait.
A time and a time, a time and a time....
and I love javan gamelon. My friend said there was a gamelon orchestra last year at the chillits campout. I wish I had seen that.
