It thunderstormed a little this evening. It was nice. I was making fried green tomatoes (from my garden) and listening to Edith Piaf. I then ate them down with some eggs (a mix of dumpstered eggs and fresh ones from the chickens in the yard) and a ginger beer. I wish I had had some whiskey for the soda, then everything would have been perfect, but I'm not complaining.

And as for the veggies from your garden... I'm jealous! I have an herb garden, but would really like to start a veggie garden now that I'm out of school. However we will hopefully moving into Raleigh next spring, so I guess I gotta wait.
