a new leaf. a leaf that doesn't drink as much and spend so much money. that is the leaf i am. or trying to be. and doing okay at it, but even at 138afternoon i could sure use a beer.

it is getting really nice out and we only have about five weeks left of class. i will be taking summer classes and such, but at least the town will slim down and it will be nice out. i rarely listen to the Faint but have been today.

there is an awful "66.6 best moments of Goth" in the new Spin. it pretty much makes you wish you never owned a cure album or wore black clothing. bunch of dumb shit that would really only appeal to 14 year olds trying to piss of mom and dad. and there is something about suicide girls that makes it sound like just another porn site, as opposed to a community. anyway, i just read it in the store, and shouldn't really expect a magazine littered with Coca Cola and Nike ads to be a good representation of counter cultures or music in general. though, i reserve my most seething hatred for alternative press because they just put on so much more bullshit as for fronting. i wish they would go back to putting ICP and Sugar Ray on the cover, that seemed to suit them better.

i think Rammstein covering "pet cemetary" is a good thing.
