I completely know what you mean about the whole needing time alone. I'm the same...I've been a pretty big loner for the majority of my life. Not because I can't be social or because people never liked me...just because I dunno in so many ways I guess I've preferred it. Often when I find myself really busy and in social situations I have to take a period of a couple days just alone to sort of "recover" from it.

A lot of people don't get it. Since I'm from a small town living in a really large city was a challenge. Maybe that's anxiety though, who knows. Sometimes being in a relationship can be really hard. It all depends on what the other person expects from you.

What is really hard....is actually getting other people who are different to understand why you need space/time.

What Faye said. NDG is totally underrated, and I hope it stays that way so the jerkoffs from the Plateau stay there instead of gentrifying yet another cheap rent, artistic centre.

Yeah, hippie-artists piss me off too. I paint, still I know I don't know shit. Thing is, with art, the less you know the better it is. At least, you're not being too much influenced by the others which is the best thing that can happen to an artist... If the artist wants to be real with him/herself.

Why can't you be there? Well, it doesn't really matters if you're there or not physically as he probably knows you really do care and that your thoughts are with him which is the most important anyway.

As for justice... You're telling me!
