I am very jealous that you train Jitsu! And congrats on the win.

As for New years, it would be lovely to meet you while we are both in Paris. I'll email you.

I adore french food and admire their culture but since they are so totally inept at warfare I find it required of me to mock them whenever possible.
I mean, the french fought a revolution....and lost. I mean Its French vs. French and somehow the French still can't manage to win. surreal eeek surreal
Its like flipping a coin and not getting heads or tails.
Somehow the corsicans come out on top! Only the french could think that one up. ARRR!!!

1. I've been so Busy these days, it's been ridiculous! Came to London on September 19th, then went back to Paris on October 9th and now I'm back in London! I now have to look for new flatmates in my new place (this time, I get to choose)! Hopefully the dust will settle a little soon though... I still have no internet at home...

1 - that's cool. what kind of things didn't he have an opinion on?
his new solo record came out in july, yet i got to interview his FRIEND glenn hughes (who sings on that album) instead of himself. i found it so odd. LOL.

3 - wish i was there smile

5 - this sucks!!! i hate it when i rely on people for something (and even something big) and then they do something stupid, fuck everything up, and leave ME in deep shit... so,i feel for you.

6 - QOTSA sucked bad when i saw them in italy in september

by the way - ciao, i just stumbled into this, and i thought i'd drop a comment smile

You're gonna love this . . . I initially didn't like the Beatles. Didn't think they'd last 6 months! I was totally into traditional rock 'n roll at the time . . . the Beach Boys were my gods. But then I started listening to their music, and went to this concert . .

Well, as you might imagine, after that I gained an entire new perspective on the Beatles.

I'd like to thank you for you kind comments in my journal over the past couple of days. They've meant a lot to me. Everyone has been so kind and it has helped a lot. So, uh, thanks!

Your "missing people" question is tricky for me right now. I asked a question on the boards; "Missing someone so much it hurts", and it got a few replies.

On a cheerier note: I really like the photos of you. I say this politely and not-creepily as I can: Blimey! love The last one is amazing; you look sort of "wispy", even though I know you could beat me into a bloody pulp with just two sneaky kicks.

over a month since your last update.. reeks of going grey anytime soon.. frown
ge999:
Love your cat! He looks way cool!

I have two of them and they are quite the amazing companions!

As for the food question: It is hard to limit it to one thing--I like Thai food--especially drunken noodles; Japanese food--sushi, grilled kasu cod, chawan mushi; and this time of year--a good piece of meat or fish and some veggies on the barbie. smile

1.The birthday festivities lasted way too long. I had a glorious party in my flat and the jitsukas thought it would be amusing to do some jitsu over winebottles and tables... On another celebration my friends got me absolutely plastered and I woke up at a friend's house in a strange bed thinking "where the hell am I?". Funny considering I spent the whole night...

1.Thanks to all of you who wished me my birthday!! smileIll be thanking Jesus and his resurrection for attempting to ruin my birthday. Everyone's left for Easter so I couldn't have a massive party. Special thanks to the dudes who plan the calendars!

I really like your hair. But maybe, eek, that's because I think it looks like mine, and I like mine.

But your eyes are better.

1. I'M GRADING FOR MY NEXT BELT IN TWO DAYS!!!! on Saturday to be precise. I'm obviously freaking out a little but I know my syllabus very well and the pre-grading was quite good. I think I'm genuinely going to enjoy myself instead of panic like I did the last time. I was so broken I had to stop training on tuesday. I've been trainning...
