Today is Juneteenth - and in today’s political climate I want to make it EXTREMELY clear that I stand with the black community and celebrate their freedom. The fact that people who looked like me ever had the audacity to believe black people should be enslaved still turns my stomach to this day. For those of you who have been ignoring me; take note: the lead role of my film, The Revenge of the Bride of Frankenstein, could have easily been a white woman, and even then her role could have been one overshadowed by that of Dr. Frankenstein. That is NOT the case. The lead character in my film is a brilliant, talented, black woman for a reason. These images are test stills from the production of the same scene we’ve already posted in storyboard form. We aren’t quite ready to start truly promoting the project, but we couldn’t resist sharing just a little bit more to keep you intrigued. Also, exclusively for SG, in the future there will be some intimate animated photo sets featuring five of the beautiful women from the film that will be drawn from the backstory of the movie but are far too spicy for a film set in 1926. 🙃🖤😈. As you probably know very well, the black inferiority idea comes from a desire to feel superior on the part of the guys with better weapons and the convenient garbage scientific theories supplied by cooperative but careless researchers currying favor with the slave owners whose financial interests were served. Slavery is an ancient human tradition, though, and while despicable, it at least made some sense at one time. Technology has made it obsolete now but it's still going on because there are dreadful people around and many of them are in positions of power. History will not be kind, assuming we avoid a nuclear war and even have a future. Fingers crossed.

Well said, @jozsef. The influence of the Ancient Romans in particular is a factor here, I think. The “founding fathers” of the United States drew a lot of their ideas for the model of our government from the Roman Republic, and sadly, slavery was an integral part of Roman society. Yes, human history is marred by a great deal of horrific behavior, which is something we should keep in mind when we choose to embrace “traditional” ideas of the past.
