my first christmas outside of the US
no family
no presents
just friends
none of the things i am used to....

to be honest, it's ok.
quiet
relaxed
calm
boring... but good.

so far i have watched 15 films
10 re-runs of friends
loads of america's next top model
and litttle britian

ate an entire vegan roast turkey
a billion potatoes
gallons of gravy
onions with everything
loads of kidney beans
part of a cake (that was non-vegan but it doesn't count against me since it would be rude to my host to say no and it's really good cake)

drank 14 cups of peppermint tea
a 2l of diet coke
3l of water
a bottle of chenin blanc
2 strawberry soya shakes

surprisingly, i haven't smoked any fags....

sigh....

christmas as a sort of-grown up is a bit wierd.

i feel almost guilty for being happy or content.
i miss my family
and all the lovely chaos they create this time of year
but it's nice
just relaxing and not worrying about everything....
