this whole merger bullshit is so terrifying. 2 hours on a benefits meeting...no one's sure how long we'll have our jobs...ugh. anyway.

here's a noobish question. if i can see a member's profile (through member search) does that mean the profile's active? or no? because scanning for singles of the feminine variety showed a few that were somewhat decent (considering the complete lack of people anywhere near me), but their last blog posts were like...in 2007. is there a "last logged in" type thing, like myspace has? i suppose i could always write a message and just never get a response if they're not really there, but i feel stupid enough writing to people (i've already been ignored and rejected enough times, i don't really want to do more).
