In my life, I've been fortunate to take part in many things, but none were as important, or fulfilling as tending a garden. In this small space, I experienced a sanctuary from the toils of the outside world. It was my center when I needed a place to clear my thoughts. Most of all, though, I learned that, by giving of your true self and accepting when things don't work, I found a place that nourished me and healed me in ways I didn't think possible.

A garden is a wonderful place of peace. I love it when you find that special place where the stress goes away and new inspirations are born. For me it is next to a flowing river or next to the ocean. The sound of water in motion is hypnotizing.
