All right...yesterday rocked!
First off, I attended a small lecture on String Theory given by none other than Brian Greene himself; a lecture wherein he was introduced by Chris Carter of X-Files fame! Awesome. Historical in my opinion!
The lecture was short and sweet, given as more of an introduction for the public, but Greene revealed that he was currently in town working with the Institute for Theoretical Physics at UCSB on projects such as String Theoretic Dark Matter!
O M G!!!!!!!
Let me say that again...O M G!!!!
Whew. The second thing is that I brought home a new rat, named, of course, Bohr in honor of the lecture. He is sweet and curly-haired and currently sitting on my shoulder chattering away.
Wellp...that's it. Although quite enough.
