writer waiting

oh this shiny new computer -
there just isn't nothin' cuter.
It knows everything the world ever knew.
And with this great computer
I don't need no writin' tutor,
'cause there ain't a single thing that it can't do.
It can sort & spell,
It can punctuate as well.
It can find & file & underline & type.
It can edit & select,
It can copy & correct,
So I'll have a whole book written by tonight
(Just as soon as it can think of what to write)

lately writing has been discouraging & frustrating & just feel like it is so irrelevant & silly. i wrote another 20 pages for my exponentially growing clusterfuck of a book & then realized....no one will probably ever read this. whatever
if a book is written & no one is around to read it, does it still tell a story? its not even a philosophical question like the tree in the fucking woods that no one is around to hear when it falls, its a rhetorical question, theres no fucking point in writing if it's getting no where.
meh, fuck it. distraction has been pretty nice lately, anyway........ love blush

Caliginous - I find the key to incorporating a new word in your vocabulary is simply to use it appropriately a few times in the very close future. Works for me! Introduce one new word a day for a few years... soon enough people won't even understand you anymore! smile

I really missed my chance to pull out a pentasyllabic word on that thread though. shocked

p.s. The boy just disappeared, which I am sure is a good thing, but do you know what happened?
