Okay
I have the opportunity to get a job guiding misguided teens, not that I'm all that different from them in ways, and that's the truth. There's a dilemma there, but the cash otweighs it by far. I'm more than worried about it though.
I've been reflective about doing nothing lately.
There's a lot going on internally:
1. I'm away from Cameron, my son, who lives in MI.
2. My mom just left from the best visit I've ever had with her.
3. I need to work to get into graduate school AND keep up with my old professors, which will be tough.
4. I need to save cash and I'm behind on rent, although he's a slumlord, so I think fuck it/him.
5. I need to quit smoking.
6. I'm having trouble dealing with Courtney, which is hard, because it wasn't always like this.
7. I want to waste my time reading things that I like instead of caring for myself properly.
8. I'm in debt.
9. I think I've recieved 2 B's in my graduate courses, which is not alright in anyone's books ifI'm trying to get into graduate school.
Solutions:
1. Study for the GRE.
2. Work hard and save my dough a la Eddie Cochran
3. Cut back on cigarettes.
4. Do my own thing on the side.
5. Exercise: I swear it's a panacea, but it might do the trick.
6. Call Andrea and Cameron AND my mom or at least write to them.
7. Find something healthy to relate to Courtney through.
Barring all of the above, I helped defend some Blue-mohawked guy at Louise's Downtown tonight, which was nice. I also got rid of my $25 Target card, so I'll eat Kit-Kat's like a king for a while.
Goodnight, all,
Ian
