I'm trying to decided whether or not I should join this punk band a friend of mine is in. It would be fun and everything, but I have a feeling I'd get really tired of the growling fat dude vocals (a-la The Loose Skrews) and Misfits covers pretty quick and I'd try and get the band to rip off either The Stooges or Bad Religion. There's also a chance that I'd start trying to pawn all the retarded pop songs I write on them, and that would be bad too, because then we'd just be ripping off Exploding Hearts.
But, it would mean being in a band again. Decisions.
Oh, I found this mix cd I made a while back. It's the weirdest mix ever made. I have no fucking clue what i was thinking when I made it. It starts with the fucking Squirrel Nut Zippers, then goes to Metric, then to "Ain't "Nothin' But A G Thang," then to Mindless Self Indulgence of all people, then to this Blood Brothers vocals and piano track "American Vultures," Then to Q and Not U, then to Dismemberment Plan, then toThursday, and it finally ends with two Nirvana tracks: "You Know You're Right" and "Verse Chorus Verse." Weird, huh?
The weather is warming up (which, to those of you not used to our climate down here, means it's beginning to get hot outside), the pollen is decreasing, and I only have a few weeks of school left. Awesome.
Oh, kids in Atlanta: everyone should go see Scatter The Ashes on Friday at MJQ; The Heartattacks, who are fucking awesome, and Fight Paris, who I know and are cool too, are opening for them. It promises to be a fun evening. And, as an added bonus, you'll probably get to see me and a few of my friends stumbling around totally wasted. What more could you want?

maximillian:
Negative, ghostrider. School will continue to kick my ass for this entire week, so I'm stuck here in sunny LA instead of sunny A(t)L.
