I have recently started watching the first season of Millenium for the first time, since it was oringally on air. Damn that was a good show, I had forgotten just how good it was, but each episode seems ot get better and batter... the very sad things of that show were a) fox cancelled it with only three months left until the Millenium actually took place, b) six million regular viewers were not enough for Fox to warrent continuing it, and c) it was replaced withthe worst show Chris Carter has made... Harsh Realm.
The characterization in Millenium is truly a piece of art, a very little is revealed episode by epiosode about the lead character, Frank Black and his family, also a very little is revealed abotu the consulting group he works for, the Millenium group. Just enough to Keep you intetrested week to week, or in my case, dvd to dvd.
I remember gathering every Friday night to partake in the show. Usually copius amounts of alcohol and other illicit substances were partaken in, and onthose nights when we couldn't all be gathered to watch, it would be taped and set aside for when we could all be there.
It was a long time ago... 9 years now... before I was married, before I was divorced, before I left my theatrical career behind, and before I busted my back. Freidns that I thought I would maintain day to day contact with forever, are now, some of them just fading memories, others are fresh memories but seldom contacted. This growing up thing is strange...
