My cat & dog pretend to hate each other, but they lie in the sun together when they think I'm not looking.

I am seriously sad about breaking it off with theBoy, even though I know it was the right thing to do. I wish I were attracted to men who treated me better. I used to be. Don't know what got messed up.

I've been sick all weekend. I'm running out of cold meds, but I'm gross & not fit to be seen by man nor beast. My pets only tolerate me because I feed them. Anyone want to bring me DayQuil & donuts? I'll even shower if you do.

Grandma came over for dinner last night. We barbecued & made homeade strawberry shortcake afterwards. We used this recipe, but we always bake it on a baking sheet. I'm still full.

I'm sending our application for the house today. I got delayed due to work & health. Cross your fingers that we get it!
