First off, thank you, for the comment....I love hearing what people have to say, and youre always very sound and reasonable. I love getting advice from men, especially when it comes to feelings, bc i've learned to deal with them better due to some male influence in my life. So that lil comment of yours brought me some peace of mind, and I just want you to know that.
And thank you for being such a great guy to me, especially in chat....u are a great guy all around, and probably dont have to try very hard heheh
Seriously, I appreciate it...

That's the only really cool thing about the place. Everything else is pretty "normal", by mil standards. I could never, in a million years, buy a place in SD. It's pretty easy here.
You can even score a place in Norfolk just using your BAH... It's a bit dumpier than Va Beach, but if you can afford to spend 3 or 4 hundred out of pocket, you can totally buy a place here, instead of renting. And if you are married or have a roommate, it's really easy. Coming from SD, things will seem a little slow or "off-putting", at first, but when you look at other services - holy shit... It's pretty cool. At least you're not at Ft. Bragg or Ft. Knox or Jacksonville NC... I wouldn't choose to live here if I wasn't in the military, but when you look at the big picture and think "I AM in the military"... You won't have a leg to stand on if you start complaining.

You'll dig it. It's a pretty good gig.

So, May, it is, eh? Well, at least you know where you are going. Is that homeported in Norfolk? I'm clueless when it comes to that stuff.

You gotta love Uncle Sam's canoe club. Not only will I have my AA after only 5 classes over 6 months, It also won't cost me anything for tuition (still have to pay for books though). Thank you taxpayers for financing my continuing education.

Thanks, man. smile

i think when i finally retire from uncle sam's canoe club (i know it's still a long way off, i hit the 11 year mark in a week) i would really like to teach. at what level i don't know (that is the beginning of all knowledge," i don't know") but since i transfered to training support center i've found that i really love getting...

food for thought: never follow a straight line to your goals, use an oblique approach so they never see you coming.

My parrot sits on his perch during the day, occasionally bobbing his head back and forth saying "I AM the bird, I am THE bird, I AM THE BIRD, YEAH!" Then he slides into, "Step up, Watson. Step up. Good bird! NO! BAD BIRD! Step up!"

Then the phone willl ring and he'll start having a converstion... "Hello! Hi, yeah! How are you? Uh huh. WOW. Oh, good. Yeah. Ha ha ha ha ha. Uh huh. Goodbye! click"

The thing is a trip.

i think faith is an excuse for this administration, or maybe a symptom, rather than the actual root of the problem.

But did you like "Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind?"

apparently herman goering was right.

"Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or...

_mre_:
You should try to get some $$ for the depreciation of your car because it was wrecked while it was still so new.

How did you get the South Park guy to save or upload?

Oh man, I've got a little kitten myself and I swear that's his favorite thing to do. He loves to run full force into my face, and I wake up terrified and can't get back to sleep. He's great though, as I'm sure you're little guy is!!! Congrats!
wren:
My cat always like to crawl up by my head while I'm sleeping. Why the hell do cats do that?!
