I'm so sorry for the loss of your dear friend. Cancer really sucks! My mom battled breast and lung, she survived, but she was one of the lucky ones. She was only gives a 16% chance of survival - 10 yrs ago!

Going to the Dr. in the morning. I've been putting off the dreaded "40 year checkup" for 6 months. Went in two weeks ago for Pneumonia/bronchitis/laryngitis and the doc scheduled two appointments, one for tomorrow (labs) and one for next Friday (readings, checkup). I know I shouldn't worry, and for the most part, I'm not. There is a little twinge though.

The Wii stirs great annoyance in me! It never picks up movements correctly, and I'm really grumpy when that happens! Oops! I've just about got a handle on the Xbox controller (baring in mind I used a Sega Mega Drive controller previously, it was a bit overwhelming! So, many, buttons.)
