First off, let me point out that the weather here in Calgary was miserable for exactly the period of time JDRook was in town. Now he's in Edmonton and it's getting nice again. So there.
Okay, kiddos, gonna be mostly offline for a while. Got some travels coming up, and I expect my internet access, let alone SG access, will be limited. Here's how it breaks down.
Saturday is the Calgary ACTS Theatre Expo and award show. If you're in the Calgary area, and have Saturday afternoon off, I'd suggest swinging by. It's at the Vertigo stage underneath the Calgary Tower, between 2 and 5 o' clock. I'll be around the Scorpio booth for most of that, saving 2:50-3:20 or so when I'll be doing a dress rehearsal for the scene from Heracles I've committed to do in the awards show but have yet to rehearse even once.
Sunday I leave for the Edmonton Fringe. I'll be up there from Sunday afternoon (you know, right after the weekend-long festivities have ended) until Tuesday night. Any of you Edmonton folks wanna hang, I'm down with that, although I won't know my availability until I get my hands on a schedule.
I'll return to Calgary no later than, I hope, 4 AM Wednesday, but all I'll be doing is sleeping, buying comics, directing a Two Guys rehearsal, and if I'm really lucky I'll squeeze in a visit with Ms. Steele. More likely I'll end up playing GTA until I should've been in bed for an hour again.
Thursday it's off to Seattle for the Penny Arcade Expo, or PAX. Three days of video game fun and frivolity with, as Masquerade has dubbed us, the Boys. I'll limp back into town Monday the 29th, tired and geeked out.
Normally I try to come back from vacation well-tanned. This time I'm hitting a theatre festival and a gaming conventiuion: I hope to return an albino. Anyway, if you want my attention afore I go, say to suggest a meet-up or what have you, you have 48 hours to do so. Other than that, try not to do anything too fascinating while I'm out. After Saturday, anyway. I mean, in the unlikely event that I have gloating to do after the awards show on Saturday, I'll certainy be popping in to do it.
'Till then, I remain...

Don't forget: I still own a small percentage of your soul, so you can't sell it and / or lose it in any tournaments while you're in Seattle. Prior claim and whatnot.

Holy crap, dude, you get to go to PAX? I planned it, but it fell through. Same with last year I'm going next year, maybe if you're going we should plan it up!
