And he's back. No update in a while... had been thinking of something relevant to say, but nothing came, so let's try something irrelevant.
Rehearsals have begun for my latest show, The Spy Who Left Me. And on the same days as the first two proper rehearsals, my two favorite TV spies returned to the air: Alias' Sydney Bristow and 24's Jack Bauer. Both determined, both as driven as they are haunted, and both stars of series that work like cliffhanger serials (less so Alias this year). But who's the best? Sydney's got mad skills, as the kids say, but Jack's got the drive. Sure, we only see his worst days, but he's all about doing the impossible in a rediculously short time.
Calgary's getting damned cold, and won't stop any time soon. 11 days and I'm on a plane for Mexico, but those sound to be 11 long, cold days. But then, when I arrive back at the resort... perhaps I'll be reacquainted with that love I had to leave behind... that one, special connection, unlooked for and unforgettable... "Melted cheese with meat." My apologies to any vegetarians/vegans dropping by, but... damn. The phrase "Where have you been all my life" would not be out of place.
Any day now I'll be ranting about comic book movies. Just so you know.
