I could've sworn I did an introductory post, but I guess I mis-clicked something, so here goes.
I'm Dan. I write plays. Won some awards for it. Also, I work as a projectionist, which gives me time to write and to avoid those damned dirty customers.
Today is better. Wednesday, after the election results came in, I was angry. No, more than that, I had lost faith in humanity and was fueled by rage.
I was kind of surprised how fast that wore off.
I mean, I am Canadian and all, but I think I hate Bush just as much as any clear-thinking American. (If that offends you... hey, thanks for reading, and what the hell do you see in him, anyway?) But within a day, I was calm about it again. Go figure. Leanred to laugh again with record speed.
Also learned about fear after watching the Grudge last night. I didn't think it spooked me that much, certainly not as much as the Ring did, but then I killed the lights and went to bed and suddenly every sound was an evil ghost planning to kill me. And my sword was on the wrong side of the room. And now, in an hour or so, I get to do it again.
Wow, thanks anonymous void of cyberspace. It's like I can tell you anything.

I'm in Calgary too, and we're always doing fun stuff... well not always, but a lot.
I agree with you about the grudge too, fucking scary. I didn't even really see any of it because I had my eyes closed pretty much the whole time.
