Busyness. Such busyness. Let's see if I can hit the highlights.
Canada Day: 'Twas fun. Even got talked onto the shirtless balcony after carla called me out. Attendance does seem to be dwindling at these events... kind of sad, but what can you do.
Fun in the sun on Monday resulted in some serious sunburn, but at least not as bad or inconvenient as Masquerade's.
New job: I've never worked in an office before. I've never had a job even somewhat like this before. As a result, settling in has been tricky. Most of my co-workers seem nice, so that's a plus... but today I couldn't make much progress on any of my projects. Too many people I was waiting to hear back from. Nobody's said anything pressuring, but I really feel like if I don't produce something concrete soon people will start to wonder why I'm there. But if all goes to plan, I'll be able to start getting the website fixed up on Monday. That's concrete and something people have been waiting for. Godspeed, me.
So Monday-Friday I now get up at 7... something I've not done since University... and work at an office, which I've never done, until somewhere near 5. Tuesdays and Thursdays I direct Tyler and Selena rehearsals from 7 to 10. Wednesday and Friday I'm still at the Moviedome from 6 to midnight. So BUSY. Something's got to go, and it rhymes with "Roomiedome." At least my body has begun to realise that falling asleep at 11 is not, in fact, a nap, and has stopped waking itself back up twenty minutes later, ready to resume my night. Bloody nuisance, that was.
Feels like it's been forever... but it's only been four days... Tomorrow I pop up to Edmonton to visit a friend, then Sunday I update my wardrobe.
Must eat sandwich before job #2.

My solution was to sing a little less awesome whenever there are hotties approaching. Purely self defence. Now if you see me at karaoke and I screw up you'll know why.
