JJ had a VERY successful surgery, I can sense that he is relieved and we are so satisfied with the veterinarian office that took his case! He has been recovering for a whole day and outside of being a bit loopy from his meds it's like he never had surgery! He's a happy active pup AND he takes his medication like a champ. He is eating like normal and I got him some new chicken treats today that I've been spoiling him with so he's super happy about that π₯°. We're still not allowed to play but I don't think he much wants to because he's obviously still pretty sore. His sutures come out in 10-14 days and I'm making him a helmet/harness he can wear instead of this cone thats he's not the biggest fan of but it is much better than the hard plastic ones.
We have many daily walk sessions in the yard for excersise when he asks but as soon as he gets a hint of cold breeze it's time to go inside lol you could say we run each other's lives pretty equally π
Jj has been a rock for me for the last 7 years, as heart broken I am for him to have to go through what he has in those 7 years, the blindness, a leg break and the eye enucleation I am grateful for his strength that he's gifted me with over that time so I can be a rock for him in this time or recovery and adjustment for him.
