Well, I've narrowed down the list of grad schools to which I'm going to apply to 6. I've filled out most of the application for three of them, written a resume, and contacted two out of the three people I want to write recommendations for me. I still have to contact the last one (the one I'm worried about, and the best of the three) write a Statement of Purpose for all six (obviously part of it can be generic, but I have to tailor the last paragraph or so of each to the individual schools), finish up the three online apps I've started, and completely fill out three more.
The list (with the middle 4 in no specific order):
MIT
Stanford
UC Berkeley
Cornell
Columbia
Boston College (obviously the backup)
Christ, this is stressful. Probably the most stressful thing I've ever done in my life.
No, not probably. Definitely. Especially considering I may not hear back from any of them until January.
