Call me Dear fucking Erica because I should write a book.
How to tell your husband/boyfriend is cheating on you:
1. He turns down any sexual advances or offers
2. He's a lot more concerned with his physical appearance
3. He seems distant
4. He suddenly seems more irritable
5. He spends less and less time with you
6. Other people tell you he's a man slut
I posted that because I was reading an article about cheating. Most of them are things I've come up with from my own experiences, but however a couple were from the article. It's definitely not something that you would want to base your accusations upon, but they're things to look out for.
I'll explain what I mean by each of the statements so maybe someone can put it to use:
#1. If he turns down your sexual advances or offers he's definitely not going without. Guys never just go without sex. lol If he's not fucking you, trust me he's definitely fucking someone else. Although things like depression or medication can cause a decreased libido, but that is usually not the case.
#2. If he's got someone to impress, he's obviously going to start taking extra care with his appearance.
#3. He seems distant. Being distant can mean a lot of different things. It's usually not a sign of cheating unless it's accompanied by one or two other symptoms. But anyway, if he suddenly seems as though he's not being as open with you in as he has in the past, something is probably up.
#4. He suddenly seems more irritable. This usually stems from him feeling guilty. This is another one not to be too worried about unless it's accompanied by other things as well.
#5. He's obviously going to spend less time with you if he's fucking around on you, isn't he?
#6. Fuckin' DUH! HELLO?! If your man fits in this category, you definitely need a fucking CLUE, girlfriend.
Why men cheat:
1. They're getting bored sexually
2. They're not ready to commit to a relationship (which of course about all of them lol j/k)
3. They feel smothered
4. They feel uncomfortable with talking to you about things, and as a result start becoming less interested (I don't really like the wording of that sentence but I can't think of any other way to describe it)
How to prevent disloyalty for a better healthier relationship:
1. Always be honest with him at all times. Men are STUPID when it comes to a woman's feelings. They don't get it unless you spell it out to them. So if you want something, that's exactly what you're going to have to do.
2. Talk to him. When you have a problem you want to get off your chest, do it. And then ASK what he THINKS and what he FEELS of the issues. You won't know unless you ask. Some guys are bad at expressing their feelings.
3. Trust him until he proves he can't be trusted. Everyone deserves a chance, but if they abuse your trust, maybe you need to rethink some things in your relationship.. like if it's worth salvaging or not. Trust is the most important thing in a relationship. If you can't trust one another, it will fail.
4. When he does something that makes you happy, or does anything for you for that matter, tell him that you appreciate it. Sometimes they need to hear that they're appreciated. That way when you bitch and nag later on, it won't seem as bad.
5. As far as sex goes, ask him if he was satisfied. Also ask what you could have done better, etc. And don't take his criticism personally. Just use what information he gave you and put it to future use. Everyone has different preferences and favorites when it comes to sex, so don't be surprised if he tells you that you could have done something else to make it better. In fact, he probably will, so expect it.
Ok, so maybe the estrogen in my brain exploded and I had a serious chick moment. But whatever, call me an idiot but all of this shit is true and effective.
Over and out, bitches.
