I totally did just purchase this...



When I saw this, it really caught my attention because it targets everything I want to strengthen & tone, plus I believe this will be a great way of mildly exercising my neck and back. It really looks like something I will want to do,will enjoy doing, and get great results. I want to use this in addition to working out in the fitness room, but on my fitness room off days. Sadista, Marksy, and I will be starting the workout thing this week I think, today or tomorrow perhaps. I got really excited when I saw the Malibu Pilates. The workout looks simple & easy and says that you will lose one pant or dress size if you do a 20 min workout on it for 10 days....guaranteed...so I'll see if it does. I plan to start this way with it to kick off my exercise regimen so I'll be looking sexy and fit by the time spring gets here. Then, maybe I'll start some light tanning. I don't want to be dark like a Hawaiian Tropic model, just to add some color to my skin tone. Toned muscles...toned skin...and I'll be good to go! Delivery is 4 to 6 weeks though frown ...I WANT IT NOW DAMMIT! That's like mid to late February when it gets here! Argh!!! ARRR!!! It's not so much that I want to lose a lot of weight, but I just want to tone up the flabby areas, exercise that will result in more energy, and build up my resistence & stamina to allow me to do more activity without feeling like I got run over by a freight train. YAY! I can hardly wait! biggrin

Also, purchased my ticket for Purgatory Feb. 9th...it's getting time for me to start finding an outfit for it. The theme is Leather & Lace, so that should be fun. I'm also trying to contact someone w/Single Cell to see about getting a photo pass so I can get more practice in becoming professional w/my photography. So Yay...more excitement...I'm considering taking a photography class to learn more about the technical part of photography. I have some experience which has got me where I am now...learned from trial and error, including the photo editing portion of it. I'll be going on more photo excursions as well...photoing anything and everything. I'll will be cleaning out one of my extra rooms for sure starting this week as well getting it ready to be used as a little photography studio. I want to start searching for items to go in it as well...as in lighting equipment, simple things to use as backdrops, and maybe on the net to find cheap furniture & props and such. I'll most likely also be working on a new myspace page where I can showcase all of my work, and use it for getting photography business. Maybe I'll even eventually start doing SG sets as well!

I'm so excited, and I'm soooooo ready to get this all going to get to a more professional level.

Pilates is wonderful for your "core"...I have Winsor Pilates but I fell off doing it...mainly cause the "easy" DVD was just to keep my back from hurting, and it hasn't hurt in a long long time. The "hard" DVD is ridiculously hard, and an hour long. It starts off with you standing, then you have to descend from a standing posture to sitting crosslegged on the floor without using your hands or arms...harder than you think!...then you do an hour of crazy hard Pilates, then the final exercise is sitting crosslegged on the floor, then ascending to a standing posture (damn near impossible.) I will probably attempt that one again, maybe just doing half the DVD at a time, because it makes you very strong and toned.
I would like to start working out Thursday if you're up for it. Yesterday was very bad for me cause of TOM. mad
I'm not trying to talk you out of tanning by any means, but I think you look good with pale skin. smile Not everyone does.
