So today was my first day of orientation as an ER tech. What a fucking day. From seeing old ladies naked to a 5 yrd with burns over 80% of her body the high point of my day was that I learned to draw blood. YES I know how to use a needle, hit a vein and fill vials full of yummy blood

What really freaked me out was after I drew blood from my preceptor a doc standing behind me yells "ok R my turn!"

I was thinking WTF?! He wants me to draw blood from him?!

and I did. One try and one vial filled. God was I nervous,I was sweating from being so nervous. I'm finally getting over my fear of needles, slowly but surely I will be able to do this. I know I can do this. So after 13 hours of being at work I come home and try to relax. so much has happened today I just need some time to take it all in and relax.

Other than that I spent last night making a CD for that girl I met this past weekend. So wish me luck i'm sending out an email today
