The imagery is mad-awesome... But I'm not sure if the font is really pulling me in. It's a rad font, but I'm not sure if it compliments the imagery or not... I will think about this...
Super awesome. Yay! Brownie and I wrote music on Thursday night. We're going to have three songs finished by the end of this month and then upload them onto our myspace.
Something jumped out recently and kicked me square in the nostalgia.
1999 was ten years ago.
Movies like Fight Club, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, The Matrix, Austin Powers, Sleepy Hollow and Girl, Interrupted are all ten years old. So are albums like Californication, The Fragile, Make Yourself, Scenes from a Memory, The The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner, The Battle for LA and... Read More
The author's a Mormon which explains several things. And the child, well, you'll see when you get there. The author tries to explain vampires and werewolves through genetics but she doesn't understand the scientific principles so it makes no sense. You'll laugh, seriously.
Another big problem is that NO-ONE IS DISCUSSING THESE BOOKS EXCEPT TEENS!!! And it's all: I love the books, how awesome, Edward is so HOT!!!!!!11111" etc etc and not any further discussion. I would actually be really happy if the books were placed on a reading list at high school because then people would discuss these things.
Link to awards' info is here. It starts at 6:30pm so I think you'd have plenty of time to enjoy a good chunk of the party. You'll definitely get to see the awards ceremony itself, I think. There's other stuff on this weekend too! Let me know if you're keen. I'm definitely in and hoping to be a judge at the following year.

It weighed in at 151 pages. 55 creative work, 91 edits of other student's work, and the rest for title pages. I printed it the night before and set it all up nicely in a display folder, then cracked open a bottle of wine right then and... Read More
I've been putting off blogging this week, as having 10 comments on my last post has made me feel loved with every time I logged in. But 4am on a Saturday morning seems as good a time as any.
It's beginning to sink in that by this time next week, I will no longer be a uni student. But this has come with several very... Read More
Friend of mine just bailed on a concert we'd been planning to go to for months. I can't exactly blame him, he needs to get his thesis finished and he's put too much work into it to stumble at the last hurdle. Still, can't help but feel like I'm all dressed up in reggae and there's no hippies to dance with.
