I think the neighbors just threw up a challenge. It used to be us who had the parties that got loud and filled the yards between the complexes with wandering smokers (hey, you can do ANYTHING but smoke in my apartment). It seems they have chosen to pick up the flag we seem to have dropped and run with it tonight. And it's only 9pm. I salute you, neighbors...just know that we're going to be forced to knock you down a peg in a few weeks.

I'm torn. There's a girl I like, and just like everything else in the real world, the situation is not perfect. Both of our scheduals are simply not ever coming together. We're also afraid that I might just be a rebound as a direct result of how emotionally close we got to each other while she was with her boyfriend of two years. So the whole thing is largely unstable, which is something I can't trust. But I have to be honest. She's a great girl and completely fucking beautiful. I'm not "in love" with her, in the sense that one might thing, but I can see myself falling into that were we to ever let it progress passed what it was. If we did that, we'd hardly see each other. We're talking hours per week here, on average, and I can't do that. If I'm with someone, I have to see them more than that. Not every day, but a healthy amount.

Gah...I'm being reminded why I didn't date for the passed two years.
