AIM has a minor flaw that drives me nuts, sometimes. Anything that pops up while you are typing a messages to someone automatically defaults to being the top window, meaning your key strokes are now being applied to this new thing. Generally you catch it in a few seconds, but a few seconds simply isn't enough when the "accept/do not accept" window comes up from someone who is not on your list messaging you. And that particular window is conveniently designed so that any keystroke save, perhaps the 'y', will cast the new message off into some hyperspace where banished messages go, never to be seen again.
So, if you happened to be the new person who messaged me last night, just send another one. Or just add me to your lista nd send me one when I'm not on "away" status...
Anyway...I must prepare things to do for another boring day at work. Being a Waldenbook's employee also means I have to work their callendar stores from time to time...which is sort of like being in a jail cell...by yourself...
Thank Whoever for text messaging.
