Hey cuties :)
This week I guess I'm writing about a disastrous trip or vacation! I'm actually having a difficult time coming up with a really great story for this one, only because I really haven't been on many vacations/trips! So I apologize for this being sort of a short/unexciting story, haha.
When I was in the 8th grade, we (my class and I) had the opportunity to travel to Washington DC for an 'end of the school year' sort of trip. Visiting monuments and doing historical tours and all that jazz. So naturally I went on the trip...I mean, what 13-ish year old kid doesnt want to go on a trip across the country without being under the guidance of their parents? Well, the first 2 days of the 4 day trip went great, but on the 3rd night I woke up at 3 in the morning, projectile vomiting. Now 1, puking is quite literally my LEAST FAVORITE thing ever. I would rather do ANYTHING than throw up. And if I know I'm about to throw up, I'll basically just start having an anxiety attack until I inevitably puke. 2, this was before it was commonplace for kids to have cell phones....All I wanted to do when I was sick was call my mom or have my mom there. (Side note: It does NOT matter how old you get, whenever you're sick, all you want is mommy.). But I toughed it out on my own, and that entire next day we had to walk around all the outdoor monuments in humid, 80 degree weather. I had the chills so badly I was walking around in a heavy, hooded sweatshirt, despite my teachers and chaperones telling me I had to take it off because I was going to overheat myself. I also threw up at Arlington National Cemetary. So there's that.
Long story short, don't get food poisoning on a class trip.
Anywhoo...Thanks for all the love on my new set, Summertime Sadness :) It's quite lovely to log in everyday and see the likes climbing higher and higher! (Keep it up, yeah?!) @cobbins86 and I are currently noodling around with a couple ideas for new sets, and we're aiming to get something shot around the new year...stay tuned ;)
Also, it's my birthday this Friday (the 19th!), and I'm rather excited. This year has been a challenge, but has completely amazing at the same time. It's definitely been a year of self-discovery, and learning to love myself, and I'm excited to see what this next year will hold for me.
Hopefully you all have fun plans for the holidays :) Take care, and I'll be posting sooooooon! xx
